Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach me at taylorbunney.realtor@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Ilumni Institute has created and designed the highly competitive application process to become a CDRE®. Once admitted, CDRE's are provided with rigorous education, actionable business development strategies, and a large community of other students, attorneys, and lending experts.

CDRE's are equipped with the tools and training to remain as a neutral party to help clients get through their divorce with ease and enables them to walk away with the least amount of financial damage possible. We work side by side with attorneys to bridge the gap between family law and real estate.

There are lot more reasons why you should hire a real estate divorce expert than simply having your home listed for sale. Here are some key reasons why.

Neutral Third Party

As a CDRE, we are neutral and can provide additional advice that will lead to logical and rational choices when it comes to your home. Divorce can be messy and emotional, but we are trained heavily to help families move along and make choices that will benefit them in the long run. We are so neutral, that while we are listing your home, we will not represent either party on the search for their new home.

Experience With Family Law Cases

CDRE's have comprehensive understanding of family law and real estate. It is imperative that you work with someone who knows how the courts work, can communicate effectively with and without attorneys, and how the proceedings could potentially go. Having someone by your side with extra knowledge saves you time and money.

Avoid Financial Mistakes

Preparing and processing the legal papers or even getting the services of an agent who is not familiar with your situation can lead you to financial mistakes. Someone who is not an expert can find themselves back peddling in your transaction, causing stress and more financial burden. An expert in divorce real estate can be diplomatic and neutral as with more emotion comes more room for mistakes.

We consider a variety of factors when determining the price of a property, including location, market conditions, property condition, and recent sales of similar properties in the area.

Here are some examples, but the issues are not limited to:

  • Agreeing on a list price
  • Sabotaging showings
  • Refusing to sign paperwork
  • A restrained party accessing the house
  • Deciding who will pay for the repairs

Yes, we require clients to sign a contract outlining our services and fees. This helps to ensure that both parties understand the terms of our agreement.
